Day 3

Day 3 Sections 8.5 - 10 : Falmer/ A27 - Eastbourne, 20 miles










Total distance covered 47km. Cycle time on trail = 4.3 hrs

- and to Nicky, for comfortably hosting a weary trio on Day 2, and for feeding a joyous group on Day 3, superbly done!

Day 2

Day 2 Sections 5 – 8.5 : Cocking to Falmer/ A27, 42 miles


Total distance covered 75km (includes diversion for pub lunch). Cycle time on trail = 7.2 hrs



AM - Fab Four (Dom. Steve, Clwyd & me ) reduces to Three



PM – Joined by 2 joy riders (Sue & Ralph)
Just to demonstrate that beers do not necessarily affect your balance

Day 1 Sections 1 – 4: Winchester to Cocking, 33 miles

Total distance covered 67km (includes trip to pub for dinner). Cycle time on trail = 6.8 hrs
Trail not quite as easy to follow as expected…
